Bengala Mud Dye is one of the oldest natural dyes and is non-toxic. This workshop is eco-friendly, and the dyeing method is very easy. It’s perfect for individuals or even families to enjoy together!
We will open the dye tables full of dye basins of Bengala, plus Aijozome Indigo! Reserve your spot and come with your material to dye. No worries if you don’t have anything from home–you can buy from our selection of kids’ and adults’ size T-shirts, clothes for you! Even if you are a beginner at dyeing, we will provide instructions on creating amazing Japanese shibori (tie-dye and resist-dye) patterns.
Earth Color Dye Lab is a drop-in workshop, so please come and finish within the time frame*. The goal of this workshop is to learn the method of natural dyeing for your everyday sustainable living.
*It takes about an hour to dye one item.
