BYO Dyeing Workshop with Bengala Mud Dye & Indigo Dye
- This event has passed.
August 14 @ 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm
Cost: $50

The Earth Color Dye Lab is back for its 7th joyful year at Loop of the Loom’s DUMBO studio!
The Earth Color Dye Lab is a natural dyeing workshop designed for everyday sustainable living. Don’t throw away your favorite T-shirt just because it’s looking a bit washed out, or that premium linen shirt with an accidental stain. Bring them in and give them a beautiful new life! The goal is to help you fall in love all over again with the pieces you already cherish.
Whether you bring your own pre-loved garments or choose from our studio stock (we have kids/adult T-shirts, tea towels, cotton blanks, wool yarn, and more), everyone is welcome!
What They Offer
Loop of the Loom is opening up their dye vats with vibrant Bengala Mud Dye and Aijo Indigo! You’ll get hands-on guidance on how to create stunning Japanese Shibori (tie-dye and clamp-resist) patterns.
Why Bengala Mud Dye?
It is one of the oldest natural pigments on Earth—completely non-toxic, eco-friendly, and incredibly easy to use. It is perfect for beginners, individuals, and families alike!
