Forwarding – A Two Person Painting Exhibition by Felix Benton and Adrian Ocone

Stump Gallery is pleased to present “Forwarding”, a two-person exhibition of new paintings by Felix Benton and Adrian Ocone. Bringing together two practices invested in structure as both framework and provocation, the exhibition explores how grids, repetition, and spatial divisions become points of departure rather than fixed endpoints, allowing order to be tested, softened, and set into motion. Across distinct approaches to abstraction, both artists use underlying systems to generate variation and drift, positioning painting as an open field where structure produces movement, instability, and ongoing possibility.
