Join It’s Freezing in LA! climate magazine at Third Door Brooklyn, Feb 13th, 6:30-11pm, for music, art, readings, raffles, and merriment. Each ticket comes with a magazine of your choice and two drinks included!
All proceeds will support IFLA!’s print relaunch and broader work with community groups and educators to foster effective climate communication.
About IFLA:
They are a group of friends who co-run a climate mag! They created IFLA! In 2018 because they found climate media too dry, repetitive, disconnected, or doomist. They research and foster effective climate communication through their magazine, podcasts, workshops and more, working with different mediums and focusses, as well as different framings – beauty, fascination, utility, urgency, humor and hope – to find more sustainable ways to hold attention and facilitate action.
Please come along to help preserve a rare home for creative, considered climate media. IFLA! is usually a self-sustaining operation, but after a much needed print break, they’d love your help to power back up.
