Events in public spaces
The newly renovated Dumbo Archway + Plaza is a spectacular venue, and one of New York City’s most unique public spaces. The cathedral-like Dumbo Archway inspires awe, and is a fantastic setting for creative projects of all types.
Positioned at the main entrance of Brooklyn Bridge Park and with sweeping views of the Brooklyn Bridge and the Manhattan skyline, Old Fulton Plaza is a major Brooklyn tourist destination.

Film and Photo Shoots
Want to shoot in the Dumbo Archway + Plaza, car-free Washington Street or Old Fulton Plaza? You’ll need our permission, as well as a permit from the Mayor’s Office of Film and Television. Get in touch at dumbo@dumbonyc.org.
Fees are based on appropriateness to the plaza, disruption to the public’s use of the plaza, crew size, complexity of set-up, amount of equipment brought into plaza, and % of plaza used. You must also have liability insurance naming Dumbo District Management Association and the City of New York as additional insureds.
