No choreography, no judgments, no expectations — this is a safe and loving space to drop in and let go among likeminded weirdos. It starts slow, gets fast, then goes back down to slow. There will be some guidance to get you into the groove and help you make the most of the practice, but you won’t be dancing to new age spa music. Expect to sweat. Expect some Cardi B. Expect to leave feeling WAY BETTER than you did when you came in.
They’ll start promptly at 7pm and end at 8:30, so please arrive on time or a few minutes early so everyone can begin together. They’ll dance for about an hour and 15 minutes, with a bit of extra time for warm-up and cool-down.
This space is femme-centered but not femme-exclusive — all are welcome to come and move, as long as you commit to maintaining the safety and comfort of femme and nonbinary folks. No leering, no touching without consent, and no awkward forced partner activities. Oh, and no talking or phones on the dance floor, please 🙂
Wear whatever you feel comfy dancing in. Bring water.
